PLR Video Types & Their Differences

There are at least two different PLR Video Types.

One is a ‘set’ of videos that are independent of each other within that set but they are all on the same specific topic.

Another type are those video ‘series’ that lead into each other like those procedural television shows that if you missed the first episode you are forever lost.

Other than my own opinion, I’ve never heard anyone talk about a preference in learning from, or the marketing of, either type of these PLR Video types.

Since I see the merit in both, that is why I create both.

I prefer making the ‘series’ PLR video type that have several videos on the same specific topic but go into detail on the different sub-topics. A good example of this type are the YourPLRMakeOver series or the AmazonS3 series.

Each video in the series begins where the previous left off. By the end of the last video in the series, the viewer has every possible question answered related to that specific topic.

Because I am a bit of a detail person. So being able to take a topic like how to use Amazon S3 and break the teaching up over 20+ videos (for example) allows me to teach those details. Plus how they relate to the next sub-topic in the series – which leads me into the next video.

PLR Video Sets Can Have  A Greater ROI

Now when it comes to the individual ‘sets’ of videos like my White Label PLR video sets, I have to figure out a way to get all the details on that sub-topic without any leading into the next video AND keep the video between 3 to 10 minutes.

WordPress training videos is a great example.

On my White Label PLR Video site, I have 3 Volumes on WordPress –
1. Volume 03 – WordPress Security
2. Volume 08 – WordPress Site Speed
3. Volume 13 – WordPress Primer

These video sets are all on the same specific topic, – WordPress but you can take any one of those individual videos and it is complete all on its own. They do not begin where the previous video left off, nor do they lead you into the next video.

More times than not, these types of training videos are sold as a complete set BUT…

They can also be sold individually or depending on the license, can be given away in exchange for email details (subscription bait) or added to any related content like blog posts or Facebook Groups / Pages just to name a couple ideas.

While I prefer to make the ‘series’ type videos (for me they are also easier to make), the ‘sets’ type of video has more options for you to take advantage of.

Of course these being PLR and you having the source files allowing you to create multiple derivatives is what most PLR buyers will profit from – hopefully over & over..,

But my question to you is which type do you prefer?
